Danielle Perret
Danielle Perret is a New York-based performance apparel designer, with a background designing for brands such as Nike, Hoka and The North Face. Designing at the intersections of life experiences, material science and analytic insights, creating functional fashion and technical performance apparel. Between her studio and factory practices, Danielle is interested in developing new ways of seeing existing behaviours and expressing them through various fields centred around the body.
The Other Space
The Other Space is a material engineered to question how we put on clothes and the individual layers that act in between them. Developing a controlled layering system that reimagines how individuals connect with the surfaces and exploring various microclimates between next to skin healing yarns and outer protective shells. ‘The Other space’ explores how you could weave or knit base layers and mid-layers into a single roll of fabric.
